Buying a washing machine normally ends with delivery schedules, installation questions, and a long receipt.
LG Electronics Philippines is adding something less predictable: a possible flight to South Korea.
The company has launched its Experience Korea with LG WashTower promotion, giving Filipino customers who purchase selected WashTower models a chance to win roundtrip tickets to Seoul. Other prizes include an LG refrigerator, vacuum cleaner, and microwave oven.
It is clearly a product campaign. Still, the Korea angle makes it more interesting than the usual appliance discount or free-detergent bundle.
LG Turns a Laundry Upgrade Into a Seoul Raffle
The LG WashTower promo runs until August 31, 2026, covering selected models purchased through participating channels in the Philippines.
For the in-store promotion, customers need to buy an eligible WashTower model from a participating dealer and register their purchase through LG’s official promo website. The registration form asks for customer details, the store branch, the specific WashTower model, and a photo of the official receipt.
Eligible models listed on the registration page include the WT1410NHB, WT1410NHEG, WT2117NHB, and WT2520NHBA.
That sounds straightforward enough. Buy the unit, keep the receipt, and submit the required information before the deadline.
The Main Prize Is a Roundtrip Flight to South Korea
The headline prize is a pair of economy-class roundtrip flight tickets between Manila and Incheon.
According to LG’s published promotion mechanics, the Korea trip carries a six-month validity period. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, although LG says prizes may be transferred.
The promotion also includes premium home appliance prizes. These include a 12.7-cubic-foot LG Bottom Freezer InstaView refrigerator, an LG Automatic Dust Kompressor canister vacuum, and an LG NeoChef Smart Inverter microwave oven with grill.
Not everyone needs another microwave. A free flight to Seoul, though, will probably get people’s attention.
LG WashTower Combines Washing and Drying in One Vertical Unit
The promotion also puts the spotlight back on the LG WashTower itself.
Instead of placing a separate dryer beside a washing machine, the WashTower stacks both appliances vertically in one integrated design. LG places the control panel in the middle, which makes it easier to reach than the controls on a conventional stacked laundry setup.
The format is aimed at households that need full washing and drying functions but do not have much horizontal floor space. LG describes the system as an all-in-one stacked washer and dryer with a compact design and centralized controls.
That matters in Philippine homes, condominiums, and laundry areas where space is often more valuable than another cabinet.
An Online Review Contest Offers Another Way to Join
LG is also running a separate online review event connected to the Experience Korea campaign.
Customers who purchase participating WashTower models through LG’s Philippine website must join the company’s K-Sama Club Facebook group, publish a detailed product review, provide visual proof of the appliance in use, and register their entry online.
LG is not looking for a quick five-star comment.
The review criteria cover washing and drying performance, ease of use, controls, installation, design, and space-saving benefits. Participants are also encouraged to include personal details about their household size and laundry habits.
Entries should feel real rather than scripted. LG even asks customers to discuss practical considerations and not just praise the product.
The submission deadline is 11:59 p.m. on August 31, 2026, while the judging is scheduled for September 4.
The Promotion Mixes Korean Culture With Smart-Home Marketing
There is a broader marketing idea behind the free flight.
LG is a South Korean company, and interest in Korean entertainment, food, travel, and home design remains strong among Filipino consumers. The Experience Korea campaign connects that cultural interest with one of LG’s more premium household products.
It also makes a laundry appliance easier to talk about.
Washers and dryers are practical purchases. They rarely create the same excitement as a new television, smartphone, or gaming device. Attach a possible Seoul trip, though, and the product suddenly has a story beyond load capacity and energy efficiency.
That does not make the WashTower inexpensive. Participating models remain premium appliances, with official promotional prices varying by model and sales channel. Buyers should still compare capacity, installation requirements, warranty coverage, and available space before making a purchase.
How to Join the LG WashTower Promo
Customers joining through a participating physical store should purchase an eligible WashTower model, keep the official receipt, and complete the registration form on LG’s promotion website.
The form requires the buyer’s name, contact information, delivery address, product model, store branch, and a clear image of the receipt.
Those joining the LG.com review event have additional requirements. They must publish a qualifying review, upload an actual photo of the WashTower in use, show proof of K-Sama Club membership, and submit the review link and screenshot through the registration portal.
Participants should read the complete mechanics before buying. The in-store raffle and the online review event follow different entry processes.
LG Adds a Travel Hook to Premium Appliance Shopping
The LG WashTower promo is not reinventing laundry technology. It is doing something more familiar: giving shoppers an extra reason to consider a premium appliance before a campaign deadline.
The difference is the prize.
A discount is useful. A free accessory is fine. A possible trip to Seoul feels bigger, especially for Filipino consumers already interested in Korean culture and travel.
For LG, that makes the WashTower more visible. For buyers who were already planning a laundry-room upgrade, it adds a chance—never a guarantee—of getting much more than a new washer and dryer.
